Victorian club football's showpiece games will be staged at the state's premier football venue, AAMI Park, on Sunday September 23. The NPL Victoria men's and women's grand finals and highly anticipated men's promotion-relegation playoff will be played as a triple header at the venue.
The gala day will showcase the best of Victorian football at a highly competitive price, with tickets on sale for just $20 for general admission. Children 13-and-under will be admitted free in an initiative to engage as many young fans as possible.
FFV CEO Peter Filopoulos was proud to bring Victorian football's showpiece games to AAMI Park. "It is exciting for everyone involved in Victorian football to have this day and these three high quality games being played at the state's premier football venue," Mr Filopoulos said. "Football Federation Victoria is dedicated to showcasing our premier competitions in the best possible light and this day will be a crowning moment at the end of what has been a stellar season. "To have a triple-header for these important matches is great value, and shows FFV's dedication to keeping the game affordable, be it as a player, coach, administrator or in this case spectator."
All three matches will be live streamed on both Facebook and YouTube, with the broadcast crew headed by Fox Sports Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League commentator Teo Pellizzeri.
